DapUp Corp. operates the DapUp mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
DapUp accesses your phone contacts and device location to find people nearby who share mutual contacts with you. This data is used solely within the app to facilitate connections and is never sold or shared with third parties.
Contacts: With your explicit permission, DapUp reads your phone contacts to identify mutual connections between nearby users. Contact data is never uploaded, sold, or shared with third parties.
Location: DapUp uses your device location to show nearby users within your selected radius (up to 30 miles). Location is never shared with third parties.
Profile Information: Name, phone number, email address, and profile photo to create your account.
Messages: Chat messages are stored on secure servers to deliver them to recipients. We do not read or sell your messages.
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. All personal data is permanently removed from our servers upon deletion.
DapUp uses Firebase for authentication and OneSignal for push notifications. No advertising or tracking SDKs are used.
DapUp is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
